The Uganda Turkiye Business Association (UTBA) is a non-Governmental organization (NGO) linking the Ugandan business community to their counterparts in Turkiye.
UTBA is part of biggest and most widespread Turkish business NGO TUSKON (The Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkiye).
The Uganda Turkiye Business association (UTBA) was founded in early 2010. This was to uncover the mysteries that existed in doing business between Uganda and Turkiye.
Many Ugandans always wanted to import the quality produce of Turkiye but had little knowledge of the business environment of Turkiye.
Similarly, the Turkish Investors developed interest in the promising and unexploited Ugandan economy but needed recommended people to partner with.
Thus the Uganda Turkiye Business Association was formed to bridge that business information gap that existed between Uganda and Turkiye.
To realize successful trade relations between Uganda and Turkiye easily, efficiently and at minimum cost.
To eliminate the third party (middlemen), between the Ugandan and Turkish business communities. This will wipe away unnecessary extra costs of doing business between the two countries.
